The dashiki can be a colorful garment for men commonly used in West Africa as well as used in the rest of Africa. It includes the top 50% of the human body. Etymology

The title dashiki is derived from the Hausa expression john ciki, meaning top. It's typically used with a Kufi top which can be worn in a set of slacks, along with Islamic towns in Africa and the African diaspora.
